Here is a photo of the Three “Gemini” collaborators, Doug Wager, Albert Innaurato and me, at the end of our first workday on this new musical. Doug is on the left, I’m in the middle and that’s Albert on the right.

Here’s a review of The Fantasticks, the production at Peoples Light and Theater which I’m currently music directing. The production has been extended through December 14 and is keeping me so busy that there’s been barely a minute to blog. Complicating my schedule is the fact that my beloved Beetle died a couple weeks ago, consigning me to a regular date with the SEPTA R-5 every night at 11 pm. Apologies to any students or colleagues who think they might be getting a little less than their due from me these days.

Meanwhile, there’s big doings in the months to come. The Prince Music Theater has asked me to create music and lyrics for their upcoming production of Gemini, the musical adaptation of Albert Innaurato’s play scheduled to open in June. (That’s right – ulp! – June!) Stay tuned to this space for news relating to this incredible new opportunity.
